The TITUS ROCKSTAR CARBON frame is truly a masterpiece of design, art and mechanical engineering. The attention to detail, quality of materials and the way TITUS has blended them together is 2nd to none. The magnificent non void continuous fiber pre-preg carbon layup, that is visible through the no bubble, no wave or orange peal crystal clear, clear coat and paint, screams quality.
The Monocoque molding process in the main triangle is symmetrical and even. No waves, voids or patches are evident anywhere in the external carbon layup. Inside the frame were visible from the head tube and seat tube, the carbon is smooth and flat with not a single lift, wrinkle or hang-nail of carbon or epoxy exists.
The precession cnc machined aluminum type 3 black hard anodized chain-stay pivot link joint blocks, that connect to the multi featured carbon chain stays are clean and void of any epoxy over-flow or drooling. The same goes for the English threaded bottom bracket shell insert.
All the pivot location connections on the main frame are immaculate as well.
The same is true for the head tube, head set internal race insets.
One of the nicest little thought out features on the main frame is the internal cable routing. The top-tube features a carbon tube-tunnel inside for the cable housing providing effortless installation or replacement.
No fishing necessary with wires to get your cables through.
Another well thought out feature is on the the underside of the down-tube were an aluminum rock guard skin protects the down-tube from dings dents.
The direct front D mount unlike allot of other
brands is precision machined and type3 hard anodized black and again the carbon layup to the edges is amazingly clean and precise and absolutely no epoxy drooling from under the mount.
Even though the frame only sports one
water bottle mount location on the down tube
the bonded threaded inserts are clean, solid, straight and have plenty of thread for longer screws.
